Just re installed my battery and ctek charger into my new van but the charger seems to be jumping staight up to 15v it never did this before in my last van don’t think I ever saw it reach 20v

just posted this in the other thread as you mentioned it there:

What, where are you using to meter the 15v?.

What battery setting have you got the ctek set to? (AGM?)

As per @Spaghetti BM2 battery monitor chart, 14.9v is a full charge rate indicating a low AGM leisure battery........ which will drop.down to a lower voltage 13.6v is as the leisure battery charge rises....

yes mate I’ve wired the black wire to negative as shows for the agm.
im looking at this

That’s good customer service from CTEK.

The temperature compensated charging is via the little sensor that is stuck by the +ve terminal of the leisure battery.

15v is normal across the starter AGM battery when Regen braking and decelerating . .

more info . . . .

It was the leisure battery showing 15v but saying that I don’t actually now what the starter battery was reading I should have checked

The starter battery will vary from 12ish volts up to 15v, depending on whether the alternator is running idle, charging, engine braking or regenerating the DPF.
