Anyone Iron The Carpet Lining Before Fitting?!

I don't think you'd be able to iron the actual carpet because it might melt the fibres, but you might be able to place a sheet or thin towel over the carpet and iron it that way. If I was going to attempt this, i'd test a small off cut.

I found with any carpeting I did, that providing you get an even full coat of spray glue, you can smooth out the natural creases by hand.

It’s all smooth on the panel, but that’s a line straight down as which looks like a crease!!!
