I I've read that stellantis group are compensating drivers for adblue repair costs , has any anyone seen anything similar from vw ? my t6 ocean failed whilst on holiday in summer and now my caddy seems to be heading the same way as I've filled it but still counting down , this system isn't fit for purpose

Stellantis have been running that for a while, but its hardly compensation as such. Eligible owners can apply to have costs reimbursed.

There are some hoops to jump through, most notably a full dealer history and the repair must have been done at a dealer. Additionally, they only reimburse full costs out to 5 years, tapered costs after that out to 8.

As VW have shown with widespread ABS model failures, they too wont put their hands in their pocket for a big spend without a FVWSH either.

If you think VWs adblue systems are shite you've not seen nuffin'. Stellatis have been forced into it by an apocalyptic failure rate spread across multiple manufacturers. VW are nowhere close to that. In addition, VW are the company that made a financial decision to allow people to die from air pollution instead of genuinely engineering their vehicles to meet emissions standards, so you can expect them to be last in the queue to efer voluntarily do anything like Stellantis have.

Good luck fighting against a multinational company in court.
I suspect you’d need to sell your house just to have the funds to get them to acknowledge receiving a complaint.
