I have various bits in different places inc:
Site PPE, high vis coat, hat boots etc
Basic tool bag
Tyre pump
Bottle jack
The odd dust sheet for protection when collecting materials
Etc

Any one got ideas for a robust organiser?

I have an Ovano so it could live in drawer or behind rear seats depending on size

Wondering what others have done?

2019 Caravelle Exec 4Motion, I do not have an Ovano or similar unfortunately but put very similar stuff in a B&Q Plastic Box with handles that snap over and hold the lid down then this is either strapped down in the boot area though usually get put on the rear bench using the seatbelts to hold in place or the middle floor area. These vehicles are pitiful so far as carrying normal routine maintenance and Wheel/tyre change gear. For your rear draw you could make up a snap-together matrix of cross planks like an H Grid of ply forming squares or rectangle spaces for small gear. Could add tie downs for safety. Then stuff would stop sliding around.

Got similar solution for the camping basics etc

Seen this on another thread, not sure if it would cope with weight?

Similar but I meant the hard plastic see-through maybe its called polythene. They can be stacked if necessary and have a hard press on lid the side handles bend over to hold the lids down. They come in all sorts of sizes.

I use a combination of Really Useful 18l and 36l to protect more delicate stuff, and then simple barrel bags and duffle bags from eBay/Trago to consolidate smaller bags of stuff into big enough collections that stay put.

Matt-T68 ..this looks fantastic! Do you have link to it? I've tried to find it on both Swish Vans & Vanstyle, but can't find it.

In the meantime, I'll keep searching!

Having given some further thought to this I am considering knocking up a box unit that would sit in the Ovano drawer and be able to be moved around when needed

with this in mind anyone got a source for the hex board ply? I know its not cheap !
