It’s been bugged me for a while. Any idea what this long thin rod is? It came with my T6 van.

Hehe. I was thinking it’s something for double seat.

I’m not 100% but it looks similar to the rods/pins that are inside the seat to hold the fabrics in place ??

Was it inserted down a hole in the engine, and when you pulled it out there was oil on the end?

I'm sure whatever it is if your van is still under warranty it won't be important, if out of warranty they'll say its absolutely critical it is refitted at a cost of thousands.
