Hi all, one more sleep !
Then i can collect my new T6 from Leighton vans : Black LWB Sportline Plus quite a few nice extras. LED's etc etc, 204 DSG 4 motion. Tow bar fitted as well as the VW bulkhead.
Coming from a remapped V6 Navara (265bhp)
Just hoping the T6 will tow my 2ton caravan as well as the Nav did. But at least i will get my little 125 Honda Grom in the back of the V Dub. !
Post pictures if i can figure out how to.

Welcome to the forum. You will be getting a nice van from Leightons, we are not too far from them so will go have a nosey sometimes and follow them.on instagram. Looking forward to seeing some pics of yours soon

Welcome along you should have no problem towing with a 204

I am looking at buying a T6 to use as an everyday vehicle, a 'get away for a bit' vehicle and to occasionally tow my boat and trailer.

The boat and trailer will weigh in at about 1900kg so I shall need something larger than a 102PS and for slipways and rough ground I think I might need the 4motion. Currently I have a V6 Touareg so have experienced no problems. I understand the 4motion only comes in the 204PS variant?

Has anyone had any experience with towing that sort of weight, launching on possibly slippery slipways etc?

Welcome to the forum Rick, not done any towing with my T6 150 dsg but I am sure you get the information that will help you make you mind up on here
