Just wondering if anyone has any experience yet with the new Halo 9 unit - iLX-F905T61 . This seems to be the updated version of the F905D and F905T6 and is designed specifically for the T6.1. Seems to connect directly to the vehicle wiring and keeps access to all the stock functions esp the vehicle menu without any adaptations. Only addition seems to be a special connector for the eCall system. As far as I can see only available in Germany so far. Looks very nice.

Any experience people have had given it is a new unit but particularly experience or issues with fitting and how it functions once fitted.
Some of the menu functions are lost such as Traffic sign recognition but most are still accessible. PDC and reverse camera functions are still working

Not one fitted but I keep up to date with Alpine products. The kit was displayed in 2022 at some of the caravan shows.
No trickery involved with installing except for additional holes need to be drilled for the unit brackets.
eCall side of it is a PnP interface same as the rest of it.
