Anyone find a solution with their THQ fridge? I'm currently away and mine is using too much power, the compressor doesn't cyle off much, last night in approx 10 hrs used 50ah so battery nearly flat which cant be right.
Thanks for the info I've got similar holes drilled in my unit so not sure that is the issue. Air flow could be better but they should be designed to fit in confined spaces. Mine is 2.5 years old now and was using much less battery originally so convinced there is an issue with the fridge.
Didn't know about the app and nothing on the THQ website about it, can't find a THQ one on the Play Store but have downloaded the Alpicool one which works but only provides the same functionality as the buttons on the fridge.
Did you ever get yours sorted? I've just taken delivery of a THQ50+ and its been running constantly since around 3pm yesterday. It replaces an Alpicool C35 compressor box which is brilliant and the compressor only kicked in occasionally so to go to a proper style fridge that cost twice as much but uses 3 or 4 times more power is really disappointing.
I'm running it off an Ecoflow Delta 2 if that makes any difference as I read somewhere about a low power setting for batteries other than a leisure battery..
No still has a tendency to use a lot of power when ambient temperature is high. Temperature readings on the display are also all over the place. If yours is new and behaving like that send it back as it shouldn't run constantly.

I've sussed what the issue is. It's constantly running because it thinks its not achieved the target temp. So I set to 5° but it will sit there apparently at 11 or 12°, but, its actually achieved the target temp (thermometer inside)!
Now, there is an advanced settings section in the Alpicool app so im hoping I can calibrate/tune the temp sensor with an offset of -7 degrees so that the actual temp and the recorded temp are pretty much the same.
