hi, very new to this forum having picked up my t6 last week.
Looking a a set of 19” wheels, 120 Pcd with an offset of 38, will this work on my t32?
Would also like to lower it a bit but a little unsure really, any help apprieciated??

If you search through the Wheels & Tyres here, you will find loads of information.
What you will quickly find out is the load rating issues restrict your tyre sizes to a select few depending on your wheel width, but there is a lot of answers.

Personally, I feel 19" is the best compromise for a T32 and run a set myself, but each to their own.

Welcome to the forum and the world of always being skint.
This subject has been well covered on previous threads, if you use the search function or the forum thread headings wheels and tyres / suspension you will have a days worth of reading to help you. We are a helpful bunch honest but whilst the T32 is limited in choice you still have alot of options:) good luck

Hi Craig,
Issues you need to consider are:
What weight rating do you need? You can find a plate under your bonnet with 4 numbers. Bottom two are axle weights, take the higher number and halve it - that gives you the weight rating you need for wheels and tyres
Diameter / Width / Offset / tyres - this is a good resource: Will They Fit - Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator

Craig,

I run 18s but with a higher profile off road tyre.....fills the arches and so visually no need to lower, it depends on what look you're after. No issues with load ratings on my wheels and tyre set up, all conform easilly to whats required. See my previous posts for details mate.

Welcome!!

I think 9.5" wide with a 38mm offset will put the outer edge of the wheel a couple of millimeters outside the wheel arch. ( on the front ).
38mm offset would suit an 8.5" wide rim better as this then puts the outer edge of the rim inside the wheelarch by about 10mm.
Its really personal preference though.

Yeah that kinda makes sense, really, what off set would be ideal on a 9.5inch wheel?

I'm not sure i'd put a 9.5" wheel on the front regardless, rear yes, but front no.
My set up is 8.5" 255/45/19 ET45 with a 30mm drop and I think the wheels sit pretty much perfectly with both arches, and zero rubbing.

I will be changing my set up in the summer, but I will possibly still go for another set of 19" wheels, but maybe stagger 8.5" and 9.5"
Sometimes people put any old set of wheels on a Transporter, and it can ruin the look if it pokes out too much in my opinion.

I agree with Toureshine. 9.5" up front is quite wide and you certainly wouldn't want to go lower than a 45mm offset.

I run 9" wide with a 48mm offset and this sits exactly 10mm inboard of the front arch and 20mm inboard of the rear arch. ( which I like the look of ). 8.5" wide with a 45mm offset sits only 3mm further inboard than mine. I run a 10mm spacer on the rear but, as MrT says above, staggering with allow for this.

But fitting the spacer gives the same look far cheaper, and you can use the same size tyres all round.
Hmmmm, maybe spacers might be the better option for me. I just want the rears to sit out a little further when I lower it more and change my wheels.

From my calculations, 10mm is the difference between frint and rear wheel, ' poke '. I got some 10mm hubcentric spacers of ebay and now my front and rears are the same. Just waiting to change tyres width from 245 to 255.
