Looks like it's time-locked, which is why I couldn't find it when I thought I had previously.

Yep edit is time locked, the aim is to give folks enough to correct posting errors but not to post something outrageous and come back and edit it to say something wholly different a couple of days later.

Not really an issue we have around these parts but it's part of the forum software behaviour.

Reference type threads can be done, but need the assistance of a moderator who can shuffle things.

These were taken off my 6.1 Caravelle. Left ones are park assist and then electric sliding doors on bottom row.

Central ones are different heater configuration.

Interesting to see that the centre buttons can differ so much.

Lots of different options available when the range spans from the cheapest possible thing to lug plasterboard around to top end luxury campervan

Theoretically the easiest way to get a canonical list is if you have access to the VW parts catalogue and list the switch fronts as they are not very interchangeable in terms of position. Where switches in one position will have options will be where there are mutually exclusive vehicle options, such as different heating controls.

The middle bottom isn't electric tailgate, it's disabled power close on both sliders and turns them back into manual doors (power latch still works though)

Source: I have a 6.1 Caravelle as well so those are the same as mine.

There is an electric tailgate open (in the back of the driver's door pocket) but not tailgate disabled. Having a rear kitchen pod I really wish there was, instead I did this:

So finally got around to at least MK1 of a solution as our big roadtrip is coming up.

Rather than a relay I found one of these from a previous project. It's a high current toggle switch with a safety cover. Normally it's designed so that you lift the cover and turn it on, then a quick push of the cover flicks it off. I want it to work the other way around so I turn the tailgate module off and it's normally on.

There's a little tab on the cover that engages with the switch so I had to Dremel that flush to use it the wrong way around.

I then used some salvaged from an eBay...

Funnily enough, I was told when I bought mine it had the electric tailgate. I double-check the driver's door pocket! I'm pretty certain that option isn't there though (and I'm ok with that).
