If you have an All In plan, do you have to have all the servicing etc done within a 2 year timeframe? I know the warranty is for an extra 2 years but cant see anything to suggest that the MOTs and 2 services have to be within that timeframe. Thanks.

I was told on the phone no, they are valid for longer IIRC it was 4-5 years, but I'd look for this in writing or speak to them on the phone yourself to be sure.

If you check the information you were provided (mine was on email) you should have a service plan end date, mine states three years from the start date.

I thought they had to be used within the cover period, Ie 24mnths.

I timed mine too go along with the 12mnth mot visit.

So mot + service twice, at 12mnth interval

Aha, just looked back at emails, warranty 2 years, service plan 4 years. Thanks

I had issues renewing my plan, as I had only used the services and not the MOTs the plan was still classed as live when the 2-year warranty expired and I wanted to renew. I had to phone VW financial services and request they terminate the plan over the phone, so I could set up a new plan. They very generously sent me £110 for the two MOTs I didn't use.

Rly? I can get trade MOT's local for £40 so I'll be doing the same. Nice one.

After reading through this, I was a bit concerned so re-read it, mine is only the basic two service plan. The van was registered September 24, and I acquired it a year later, so I suspected it would be out of date next year, but it clearly shows September '28. As yet it only has 7k mileage, initially I was going to push it out to September, but have since decided March I will take advantage of its first service.
