Bought 2 meself, they are marked 23/01/2020. just called Tetrosyl customer service, that’s the production date, not the use by date. The shelf life is 36 months.

Thanks for your reply Salty, this is a issue that needs addressing, if you buy any other product from a supermarket, does it tell you the production date or clearly specify it is the production date? to me the date on a tin of beer or a sandwich is the use by date!!!

To be fair, the date on the adblue container is non-descript & inconspicuous and printed directly onto the container, not the label. It doesn’t actually state what the significance of date is. You assumed it was a use by/sell by/display until date, because we have been brainwashed by the supermarkets into throwing perfectly good food away.

I used to buy containers but found a pump and soooooo much cheaper.
I fill the van & the daughters Audi up at the pump, but we have a Yeti too & the adblue filler is inside the boot floor & a PITA to get to. I’ll be taking the empty container down to the garage for a refill.

Beer doesnt usually get anywhere near its best before date in our house! I’ve been given out of date beer and its been fine!
