Going away in our T6.1 highline. It has a factory alarm I’m told. How do we lock it at night whilst sleeping in it without triggering the alarm
my 6.1 has the button on the b pillar?6's have a switch on the B pillar to disable the internal sensors but 6.1s it san only be done via the menu, and has to be done each time you want it which is a ballache.
Nefer needed it myself so cant advise where in the menu it'll be im afraid,
It does?!my 6.1 has the button on the b pillar?
probably yes. Registered Dec 31 2019....It does?!
Indoors an early 6.1 perchance?
Do you have the “lock/unlock” button on the drivers door panel?Going away in our T6.1 highline. It has a factory alarm I’m told. How do we lock it at night whilst sleeping in it without triggering the alarm
yes, of course...Do you have the “lock/unlock” button on the drivers door panel?
Then use the lock button. This will lock the doors but not deadlock them, it won’t set the alarm either. We lock the van using the button when setting up, then open the side door from the inside, this won’t unlock the rest of the doors. The side door can then be re-locked using the button above the side door handle.yes, of course...
If I do that and open the slider from the inside with a double pull (unlock then open) if I shut the door and I’m outside then the outside door handle won’t open the door even though it’s unlocked on the inside, until I unlock the van with the fob. Then use the lock button. Just use the lock button on the drivers door, sortedGoing away in our T6.1 highline. It has a factory alarm I’m told. How do we lock it at night whilst sleeping in it without triggering the alarm
Nope, once unlocked it stays unlocked, inside and out.If I do that and open the slider from the inside with a double pull (unlock then open) if I shut the door and I’m outside then the outside door handle won’t open the door even though it’s unlocked on the inside, until I unlock the van with the fob.
Check yours because it’s very easy to get locked out.
Out of curiousity is yours a T6 and is it originally a panel van or a kombi?Nope, once unlocked it stays unlocked, inside and out.
T6 PV, what’s yours?Out of curiousity is yours a T6 and is it originally a panel van or a kombi?
T6 PV. Strange.T6 PV, what’s yours?
It sounds like a deadlock issue, as if the external handle has been disconnected from the mechanism.T6 PV. Strange.
I’ll try the driver’s slider if I remember tomorrow see it that’s the same.
Cheers
Mine does tooIt does?!
