After removing both front seats in order to fit leisure battery kit etc I now have an airbag warning light. From reading other threads on here this is a consequence of my turning the ignition on while the seats were off and associated connectors detached. So, I got an OBDII device (picture attached) and plugged it in. No codes found, even though airbag warning still showing in on dash.
Is my device s bag of spanners, and should I have bought the more expensive Carista one?!
There’s a note in the back of the manual of my device that says ‘does not work with non OBDII systems including airbag/SRS’. Presume this explains the missing codes? And would the Carista pick these non-OBDII codes up?
As always, advice greatly appreciated.
(Apart from this blip the great work is going well, the Drift and Victron are wired up and purring under the drivers seat.)
