Hi, new to the Forum and in need of some advice.

The airbag warning light came on after i removed the seat when carrying out some work on my leisure battery under the drivers seat. Fault code keeps re-appearing when I try to clear it using a Carista OBD2 reader.

Seat belt is working fine.

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

Cheers

I suspect the plug isn’t properly engaged. Have you checked everything you unplugged to remove the seat?

Thanks. I have already checked the single connection under the seat but can’t hurt to check again.

I’ve just had the same problem, tried resetting on Carista but it returns straight away.

Nothing has changed since I last used the van - there is a wire under the seat which isn’t connected to anything but it never has been as long as I’ve had the van (see photo). Can’t see anything to connect it to anyway!

Anyone got any clues?

Thanks

I’m in the same boat - although my light has just come on two years after I last had the seat out!
did you get to the bottom of this?

I found the wire going to the seat belt tensioner was trapped beneath some trim and although I couldn’t see any damage, freeing it cleared the fault which hasn’t returned so far - touch wood!
