New T6 owner - some upgrade advice please....

Morning all. Just bought our first VW camper couple of weeks ago. Its 2018 T6 converted and its a pretty basic model. Chose it due to conversion quality, location of sale and low mileage. Its doesn't have air con, got basic steering wheel and factory stereo etc. Just wondering whether its worth spending anymore dosh?

- really want apple car play, any advice on products (under 500 notes budget)?
- is it worth getting air con retrofitted
- can you / is it worth having multi-function steering wheel fitted?

If you've just bought it my advice is to use it while researching ideas and find out.

Everyone's use is a bit different, don't spend thousands on something that you don't end up using, or even worse you find that campervans aren't for you and you sell on without recouping that investment.

Aircon is going to be a bit of a mission to retrofit, the head unit changes much less so.

I wouldn't be without the controls on the wheel as the head unit screen is a bit further away than in a car, but if you are mostly using Car Play/Android Auto the controls don't really drive that so not a huge advantage. Maybe change the head unit with that in mind but see how you use it before you invest in the wheel change.

Oh, and if you don't have one already, do get one of the rubber strips to stop pens, leaflets, parking tickets vanishing between the dash and windscreen otherwise getting them out will drive you nuts!
