Aftermarket Caravelle swivel

Attempted to fit the Jennings lowered seat base and FASP swivel to the Caravelle...

Unfortunately the pre drilled bolt holes don't line up, and the overall height was increased.

So I'm guessing the Caravelle bases differ in hight to standard, plus the rear floor of a Caravelle causes additional issues.

Has anyone found a pre-made aftermarket solution that works with the T6 Caravelle?

Cheers

Caravelle seat bases are no different.

Its that little carpet step up to meet the rear floor level thats different.

Please excuse my ignorance but why does the seat base need changing to accept the swivel?

I have a 2019 199bhp Caravelle Exec with original fit leather electric adjustable seats most probably with blow ones head off exploding safety devices not sure if they have bags or not think they do, could I fit a swivel at least to the passenger seat? Does any of the electric wiring for seat adjustment and heating etc need lengthening or in some other way considering. I realise that some have found that the drivers seat when revolved is not so good but in a Caravelle it might afford some small space when the bed or bench/bed is made up to change clothing etc Also the drivers seat has far more adjustments than the passenger is that an issue with wiring. If air bags could they go off if fitting a swivel or putting batteries underneath? I would not fancy being the first spaceman with a T6 Caravelle, nor being squashed against the roof I could imagine that it would be my luck!

The swivel plates add around 30mm of hight. So you have a lower seat base to compensate. Otherwise you end up sat too high.

Some swivel plates come with a big hole in the middle e.g. FASP, which should allow cables to be passed through. No idea if you'd need additional length though.
