Advice from convertors please (poptop carpeting)

Do I need to add some plywood to these sections before I carpet?

The images are about dark.,

The first is the front section inside the poptop, I am tempted to a one of these usb/flexible led lights (if anyone has a link to where to purchase)

Second image is just the rear section of the poptop

I did. I used foam to insulation to bring everything to the same level, then went over with carpet. I also put a flexi light in - I’ll see if I can dig out my source.

The Reimo roof comes with a finishing trim for the cab area which is neat ( see pic )
The rear would normally be carpet lined from top of roof, down to back door seal.
But different roofs will have slightly different finishing techniques. The fitter should advise you which is best for that particular roof ( or that's what we would do anyway if someone came for just a roof fit )
