Adhesive pad failing

Hi. First time posting here. Recently bought a VW T6 Shuttle from a VW commercial van dealer. We got them to fit reverse parking sensor for us. The device to warn us is attached at the back. Problem is that what they have on numerous times used to attach the device to the interior has failed. Really don’t want to glue it but wondered if anyone knew of suitable adhesive pads that will do the job as they don’t seem to have any idea of what to use.
Thanks in advance.

Have you though about tucking it behind the roof lining..... you might still be able to hear it?

what reversing sensors have you got?

the factory fit ones? and you got the PDC button on the dash?

can you post a pic?

FYI: a "small" bob of clear silicon sealant will have that beeper stuck to the d-pillar plastic very well, . . . and could be removed with no damage if needed.

Thanks for your replies.
I’ve added an image of one of the sensors. All new to me this and I have no clue about vehicles so I hope I’m giving the right image you requested.
Also, I don’t know what a PDC is.
Turns out this is the first time that this VW commercial garage has retro fitted a parking sensor. I’d really like them to come up with the solution, what with having paid them to do it but finding them not very helpful.
I may go for the silicon solution and do it myself. I think it is a case of having go and learning as I go along and becoming more confident.

PDC is park distance control.

Vw name for parking sensors...

They normally have 4 on the rear bumper, and maybe front too..

The factory button looks like this.... P

And screen integration looks like....

Hi. Thanks for explaining. No screen integration and no button fitted at the front, they just fitted the four sensors at the back and the sound device that keeps coming undone from the interior. I assume fitting it with the button and integrated with the screen was too much effort or would have made it expensive to charge us.
I assume any silicon would do the job or did either of you have a brand you could recommend? Thanks.

Right ok.

well im assuming its just a basic setup thats fed from the reversing light feed from the back light cluster.

so it basically goes live when you put the van in reverse and drops out when you take it out of reverse.

any silicone would do. . . . . . just a small blob will be fine. its amazing stuff for this kind of flexible glueing type thing.

I've used a pea or marble sized blob of basic clear bathroom sealant before for a similar job.

and a tip . . . . use a piece of gaffer tape to hold it from slipping down while it cures (say 24 hours till cured fully)
