Adblue gauge not working?

Adblue shows 1700 miles left. I may have overfilled when it showed 2000 miles left as it came to the top of the filling pipe. . Now it does not show the new amount and only the decline to 1700. Should I just wait until some Adblue is used and hope the gauge resets?

Also how useful are the Adblue additives?

Have figured out that the gauge is working correctly. However I cannot add any more Adblue, it just overflows. I have heard that crystalisation can cause blockages. Can anyone recommend a good anti-crystal additive, to try and dissolve the blokage?

My (trusted) garage man sold me some Forté stuff but I haven't had to put any adblue in yet.

I'd definitely be sucking some out in your situation ...

What does the dash display?..

Miles left?... Or dashes?

It dsiplays miles left, and is reducing at the correct rate.

Not so much on the filling pipe. More so on the dosing pipe/nozzle.

Sounds like you've overfilled it hence the incorrect reading.
Loads of Adblue threads on here discussing this issue. Maybe search some more.
