Adblue Exposure To Air

I buy the 5 litre cartons of adblue recently. I had been buying the 10 litre cartons but never used a full carton. If adblue carton is opened & has been exposed to air while pouring it into the van can the remaining still be used later. I've a couple of 10 litre cartons in the shed with small amounts left in them that I'm afraid to use in case it crystalised as there's signs of crystalisation around the lid.

Also what's the correct way to dispose of it if I should not use it?

I get 20L jugs and squeeze as much as I can in, then tip the rest in when space allows, never had any issues, the open jug can be sat in the garage for 12 months-ish.

If you are buying 10L jugs you should be able to fit the lot in, just run it a bit longer before filling up.

That’s what I do - run it a bit longer and then tip the whole 10 litres in

OMG. This is new. Exposed to the air?
I have a 22 L thank of Adblue under my van. It may last a couple of years if I never top it up. It doesn't look particularly hi-tech. Just a plastic tank with a blue plastic cap. Quite sure the tank is breathable, not sealed. Means exposed to the air quite a lot, since the tank is wide and shallow. What is the difference with your plastic jug where it was before?
Does the Adblue expire that fast?
Should I repace it when I do the oil change?
Where does this Adblue madness end?
