AdBlue Removed

Recently had the EGR blanked & mapped out & Adblue also removed.

For the remaining Adblue in the tank is that just left in there or should it be drained out?

Reason I'm asking is that I read somewhere that it crystalises over time but not sure if that's correct.

Yes it crystallizes badly..

If you drain it right down it will crystallize over and you're never be able to use it again.

You could possibly fill it up with AdBlue so that if any point in the future you decide to undo the map you should be able to use the AdBlue system again.

Draining right down will definitely crystallize and clog it all up.

By all accounts when you've had the AdBlue max out you get dash – – dash on the remaining miles that is left over?

Did your oil consumption go up after the map - are your two recent threads maybe linked?

Also I doubt the garage you bought from will take it back (as you said you might try in the oil consumption thread) if you mapped bits out etc.

Not linked as the oil consumption happening over months. Removals only happened last week.
