adblu alert saying I need 2.5-275 gallons of adblu at 1400miles left

Isn’t around 12litres a bit extreme , I thought the whole tank only held 13litres ? I’ve had issues before where the adblu tank has overflowed when trying to fill the recommended amount which has then failed to register the new fluid I’ve added and I’ve had to drain the whole tank ..anyone else had issue like this and what did you do ?

Is the reading showing imperial gallons (12.5 litres) or US gallons (10.4 litres)?

It’s a UK car so I’m assuming UK gallons ..why would it be in US gallons ?

US gallons are an option in the settings and it has caught others out before now. Worth a check - better still, set the units to litres and then there's no ambiguity.

where would I find this setting ? It seems odd a Uk car would allow you to set it to US gallons

On a T6.1, it's under something like Settings > Units (or something similarly obvious). Don't know about a T6 though.

Do you feel lucky @lucky13 ?

If you have a diagnostic tool you can check what the ECU really thinks - It might give you a better idea of existing volume etc.

The other thing you could try is to add some (eg 6 to 8 litres) and see if it resets when you turn ignition on for 30 seconds. If it douesn't reset add another litre at a time until it does reset.

That is the figures I get when it’s time to refill. I have a 2019 T6. It has worked for me so far.
