Accessing OEM leisure battery under passenger seat

Hi there,

I've recently bought a 2017 t6 Transporter which has an OEM leisure battery installed underneath the passenger seat.
Is there an easy way to get to the battery without taking the whole seat off?

The seat should come off with 4 bolts (and a few wires) so if you need access to work on it the best option is to just whip it out

The seat has to come out.

The seat is bolted to the the seat base box..... There are four bolts in an the seat runner. (And a few conection for seatbelt and heated seats etc,)

Thanks both! Just had to disconnect airbag wire and may need to have it reset when the seat goes back on.

Just don’t turn on the ignition before you plug the airbag back in.
