Abs Plastic Body Work Glue

ok iv just fitted my abs plastic wheel arches. They came with M3 adhesive tape and black bonding glue (don’t know what it is)

Generally pleased with the fit but the rear arches could do with some more bonding glue just to seal the top onto the body work.

Can some one recommend what I should use for plastic to paintwork so I don’t bugger up the paint if I ever need to remove the arches protectors. Thought best to avoid no nails

I used Sikaflex 521-UV the one in the metal tube.

Just tried the Sikaflex and made things worse. What I didn’t realise it has bugger all grab so the arches covers come away again. Tried gaffa tape to hold it down but still no joy.
Will m3 tape be any better?
Can’t leave it because it will drive me nuts.

If they are flexing out, nothing will have the grab you need. Once the sikaflex is set it is very strong. Dont you have some clamps you can grip them with overnight?

Thought about clamping but don't have any big enough. I'll see what I can come up with. Couldn't see anything on the tube but what's the hardening time?

Not sure on the drying time as I left mine overnight. Try squirting some out and leave it to dry, touch it every now and again and see if it is dry.
