I have the 102hp t6 and the turbo went last year can we replace the turbo with a bigger turbo? I gather the 150hp has a different turbo could I fit that one? Or is that just a no go?

Had our 102bhp with a straight replacement (after advice from garage) a couple of months ago and can't help feeling I've missed out .
Ours has snapped the shaft I had thought the 150 had a bigger turbo I know the 200 brake one is bi turbo
I do not know what a bigger turbo might bring, more power does that mean turbo lag and is the running gear up to the task. Perhaps it will be better all round if the package is well developed.
A new turbo is expensive. These chaps could likely rebuild yours to new spec for much less folding, and they do a collection and delivery service.
