Hello everyone.
I'm planning on buying a T6 LWB through my business. I'd like to keep on the right side of HMRC so intend to buy a panel van (without bulkhead)
I want to keep the van flexible - A basic HMRC friendly van when it needs to be and have 2nd row seats + bed + cooker when I want them.
A Sidepods cooker unit will take care of the kitchen.
A company in the US called Adventure wagon sell the MOAB (Mother Of All Beds)
)
Currently they manufacture for Mercedes Sprinters but a T6 bed is in the pipeline. I plan to use this system for the bed.
So the plan is simple: Buy the van, have Kombi style windows fitted, get the van insulated, lined and electrified - then fit standard seats, floor, a MOAB bed and Sidepod cooker.
I should end up with a flexible van which won't cost a fortune to convert and is arguable just a van as nothing is a permanent fixture.
Questions...I know I can get the windows retrofitted - can I do the same with Kombi style rear (removable) seats plus floor and fixings? Would a dealer be able to supply?
Does it sound like I'd be on the right side of HMRC or am I kidding myself?
Thanks for advice.
Cheers
