No experience of a 9.5" wide wheel but depending on et won't this be a bit wide on the front, ie sticking out from the front arches compared to the merely full rear arch?
Staggered rims or different et rims are a bit more common?
Yeah that what my worry is so wondering if anyone had actually tried it. Its a 2nd hand set so cant pick and choose spec. I dont want to run staggered either as I like the ability to rotate wheels front to back if needs be.
I'll be honest with wheel rotation I'm just replacing the front tyres and leaving the rears as they have plenty of wear left and the new fronts will be the same make so matching tread pattern.
If I was putting on more expensive tyres I would probably still not rotate the tyres as replacing the fronts due to wear rather than all four in one hit softens the financial hit.
If her in drawers would sanction it I would go either staggered width rims next time or different et and a common width to avoid fitting spacers and longer wheel bolts again.
In my case 8j 18" all round with 25mm spacers on the rear, sadly I have to justify all expenditure to the modification committee so fat chance of some huge Judd's or Innovit hoops... could always go back to work I guess... nah!
@ Higgidav he's looking at19x9.5" wide though and no ET given on these used wheels so a 255/45 or 50 will look square sided at best and probably more likely stretched depending on whether or not it has sidewall protection like a Goodyear Eagle for example.
The 255/45/18s on my camper are square sided but that's on an 8J 18" wheel, the ET will only contribute to arch filling and strut spring clearance.
Edit... Re-read and et40 so slightly more poke than my Momos below... must read and absorb...
