I’m starting this thread off to show some of the 3D printed bits I’ve made for my 2022 T6.1.

If anyone has a 3D printer, I’ll happily send the files over for free. If you don’t have a 3D printer, but want any of the parts, they’re available on my Etsy page.

More information and measurements are on the Etsy ads.

Hopefully somethings of use to you. If anyone has anything they think would be useful, let me know and I can sketch it up.

I needed somewhere to store bits and pieces when the bed is in the sleeping position. I just designed, built and fitted this in the rear of my van. It only protrudes 30mm, and utilises 50mm behind the panel as well.

I’m also going to fit one on the left panel for the rear n/s passenger.

Im particularly impressed with the gas bottle bracket.

i was at daughter #1's yesterday and was most impressed as she's 3D printed a bog roll holder with a little shelf for one to put ones mobile phone on.

T6.1 barn door interior handle

Fits into a square hole 105mm x 65mm, ideally over the existing hole.

The handle / switch holder simply clips into the newly made hole.

Could be made in most colours - if I have them.

If anyone would like one let me know. £10 posted seems reasonable. IMG_1016.webpIMG_1018.webpIMG_1017.webpIMG_1019.webp

Just found this thread. I am really impressed by your ingenuity and generosity. Some great ideas.

I’ve probably not posted this on here before, but after my van was viciously attacked by a fox, I designed a guard to prevent further attacks.
In one of these photos you can see some of the wires that I had to solder up and spiral wrap. What you can’t see is the 30mm thick section of wiring loom that foxy also attached.
I had someone come to pick one of these up for VW to fit on his van for a similar attach. £3600 for his damage!

I've just finished another take on a hidden /stealth bumper door for a mains hook-up or water inlet.
I wanted to have something sturdy and fully adjustable so I could make it fit nicely (and with a little bit of a OEM look and feel to it). Took me quite some time to get it to the current version. If you have any comments or questions please let me know.
