280ah lithium under T6.1 drivers seat or passenger

Has any one managed to fit on its side under the drivers seat? Or any luck getting one with the twin seat?

I’ve only found pictures of people 100ah under the drivers seat with maybe one person saying they fitted a 230ah seat specific battery under one.

Would 2 x 100ah under the twin seat be the best I can hope for …or even doable?

Where are people putting their batteries in the T6/.1 if not under the seats?

Tia for your help.

There was a 280Ah seatbase battery in another thread today - Lithiumpro ??

Is that some sort of glove throwdown challenge as there are umpteen 230Ah drivers seat base battery installs on here, my own included, that's before you factor in Lee @Dellmassive and a 230Ah under each single front seat with an 8' by 4' solar panel up top.
Do another search and there are some proper power stations on the forum with install ideas a plenty.

That's a 230Ah Roamer and this would have been great but was actually more of a bit of app optimism....

Thanks I’ll take a look. I was really after specifically if any one has managed the fogstar drift 280ah non seat version?

There is a firmware update to fix that over rated Ah reading.

Contact @RoamerBatteries tech support and they can send you the update device via post.

You can update your own battery,... Or just pop over them and let them do it.

Contact the guys for more info.

(I've done the update on one of mine via the post method.... Worked a treat)

I've got twin 230ah seat base batterys.

That's the largest I've seen fit.

But there are some newer mini versions that might fit... I know Renogy are doing some scaled down smaller batterys .... Haven't checked the sizes yet though.

Do all Roamer batteries need this update?

No, just some early Gen3 models.

The symptoms are a constant climbing Ah capacity well above the battery actual size.(Displayed on the app)

If you're using a early gen 3 battery with a separate shunt then this is irrelevant, it only replies to the reporting within the Roamer app

I have the process shown and detailed on my Roamer batteries thread.

Cheers Lee, it hasn't bothered me as I use a Renogy smart shunt with display but took the picture a while back as a potential wind up shot for battery bragging rights! 🥸
