Hi all, I currently have the van in with VW and it looks like they are unable to locate the above noise. The grinding happens all the time (hot/cold) when driving between 15-20mph and then stops when it goes above below. I had a local garage look at it and he suspected it to be gear related but unsure.
It’s highly unlikely you’ll get a diagnosis over the internet if a garage can’t make a definitive diagnosis with it on their premises.
Most importantly stop driving it as whatever is happening is only getting worse. Choose a specialist and get it recovered to them.
Worst case you could loose drive on the road and create a danger to yourself and others.
