Looking for £56,000 ono
Converted by Sherwood Campers May 2022 to their Newstead spec with lots of extras for some £40,000. The van is a Dec 2019 (69 plate) purchased from a VW dealer with low mileage in excellent condition. It has full service history at VW dealers with the last service Dec 2022.
The main features are a Reimo electric roof and a Clayton 2500 electric power unit that powers everything in the habitation space. The electric roof makes opening and closing a doddle, especially the closing, you simply press the button and down it goes, no fighting with the gas struts. We did have a problem with the canvas leaking but it was replaced under warranty and is fine now The roof bed is fitted with the upgraded luxury mattress, very cosy.
The Clayton power unit is a lithium ion battery incorporating an inverter so mains power is available off grid via 2 x 13 amp sockets. It is charged from a 150 watt solar panel, the engine and mains hookup. There is ample power for all the kit including a 2 ring induction hob and Dometic fridge. Led lights throughput.
The bed is a Reimo 3000 sliding bed / seat that can be locked in several positions with storage underneath. A Webasto diesel heater is fitted which is very efficient, warms up the van in no time.
The van has 5 belted seats inc 2 swivelling Captains chairs and a Black Vue Dr900 twin camera dashcam with reversing camera which includes a security facility when parked.
Externally there is aThule wind out awning and also included in the sale is a Vango Agora VW air drive away awning and a Rainbow thermal windscreen cover.
A towbar is fitted with the appropriate wiring harness programed to the vehicle.
Reason for sale, it's just not big enough for our needs so something bigger is required. Be sad to see it go, we have had some super trips in it
