2017 t6 102 with code p2016 manifold runner position sensor circuit low bank 1

Hi all I have searched the forums and found nothing on this code p2016.

Has anyone had this before and got to the bottom of it?

The have added the fault code and the freeze frame data below.

Any help appreciated

P2016 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1) - Short to Ground

Possibly the sensor feed (reference voltage) is missing thus the sensor reports as shorted to ground - just a wiring issue perhaps.

Am I right in thinking that the “vacuum” unit on the inlet control the flaps so check the wiring to that?

Great, thanks for that. I’ll check the wiring first and if not that I’ll order a new inlet I guess.
