This van has been epic! It has been my only vehicle since ownership from 11k miles, it has never let me down. I have taken good care of it, converted into a campervan using quality parts, always kept to the maintenance schedule that was carried out by VW commercials.
It drives really nice on the Bilsteins B14 coilovers (which can be lowered a lot more) I have done some long journeys and never feeling tired or that I’ve been driving a van. The re-mapped ECU increases the power to 190 BHP from 150 and is more than enough.
As a campervan it is great, the RIB bed is comfortable especially now with the memory foam topper, the best quality seat/ bed available in matching VW trim. the fridge ticks over nicely and will keep cool for over 3 days easily just off the battery, with the solar plugged in there is no issue in keeping the battery topped up. Plenty of charging options from USB and 12v ports.
The van can be used all year around, the diesel heater has just been serviced and has had a new control board fitted, I’ve just come back from a weekend away and didn’t need to use it as the van is well insulated.
It’s been a hard decision to make, but sadly due to work commitments I simply do not use it for what it is intended for nor have the time, but when I do, I instantly fall back in love with it hence why I’ve been apprehensive to put it up for sale.
Open to sensible offers, any questions or viewings welcome.
