We bought our beloved 2016 Caravelle from the main dealer when it was 4 months old. We actually wanted a twin-sliding door T6 with a VW pop-top roof, but at the time VW only supplied T6 pop-tops with a single sliding door on the right hand side, such as California Beach. Therefore, we opted to get the twin-sliding door Caravelle and then had a genuine California pop-top roof professionally fitted – hence Caravelle Beach! Also, all the California genuine window blinds were new from VW as were the folding chairs, table, multi-flex board and interior trims.

This has been the best vehicle we have ever had and is a pleasure to drive. It’s been very well cared for with full VW main dealer service history from new and even with its now 211,000 (mostly motorway) miles, still drives beautifully.

Cracking bus, what’s the service history?
I remember looking at t5.1 with 450k on the clock! and it was in very very good condtion, it had done little work regarding loading and unloading, just the front end wanted a flash over.
It’s a lot of coin for the mileage but how much is one that’s been dogged with half the mileage? GLWTS

Hi, not sure if you still have this vehicle, but we're looking to get a pop top fitted to our Velle Executive, but cannot find anyone locally (South Wales) to install it, due to the heating ducts and vents. Did you have the pop top fitted yourselves, if so can you let me know where? Thank you

Hello. I had the genuine VW pop top fitted by Kernow Transporters in Cornwall. Regards, Peter.

Hi Peter, thank you ever so much for replying 😀
That's fab, as I've just emailed those guys this evening. We live in Tenby, South Wales but go to Cornwall for hols, so I'm hoping they'll be able to install a pop roof on our 2021 Velle Exec. Do you mind me asking how long it took, roughly if you can remember? I'll attach a pic of our Velle
Thanks again, Wyn

A strong price being sought, but that’s a lot of van for the money. Those won’t be “hard” miles put on it for its age.

PRICE REDUCTION - NOW £25,000
Here is some additional information.
The van has never been smoked in. Full main dealer service history from new, in fact it has literally just had a service, now 16 in total. The main dealer has maintained our van since we purchased it and has always completed any work as required. Full VW clutch, including DMF, was replaced by the main dealer in September 2022. Main dealer replaced the cambelt & water pump in September 2019 @ 108k miles and again in October 2023 @ 174k miles, so not due again for another 40k or so. High pressure fuel pump replaced in March 2020 by main dealer with genuine new VW pump. The rear light clusters are genuine VW T6.1 LEDs, the front sidelights and daytime running lights are LED; the headlights are 4 Caravelle halogen lights. There is no rust. The main dealer has looked after our van and always done anything needed so there is nothing to be done. The brakes are all good ('big brakes' on the front), the tyres and wheels are nearly new (I recently bought a new set) and the air con is cold. It has always passed the main dealer MOT first time every time, it has never failed.
I hope this helps. Regards, Peter.

Very nice van with seats , however its insane valuation.
You just shaving 4 grand off it tells me something.
The bible ( glasses book valuation)
Puts a massive emphasis on mileage.
That's massive mileage, however which way you coat it.
Sometimes as much as hundreds getting wiped off per 1000 miles over average .
Considering its done such huge miles its half that money in the real world .
And its doing 21000 per annum .
A seriously loved and well used van , that looks very nice. But quite simply the mileage is gonna crush the valuation.
