12v tyre compressor

I've got an airman 12v compressor that I leave in the van. Use it for inflating the kids swimming pool and other bits too. The plug burnt out in the summer and I replaced it. But I tried to use it earlier and it wasn't working, despite it working last time I put it away... grrr

I'll take a proper look at it to see what's up, but if I have to replace it, any recommendations? The auto express reviews are usually good but the price of compressors is more than I remember!

I have the same one as @Dellmassive, it’s a great bit of kit. Between the the kids pool, footballs, bike tyres, oh and the van. It’s had a fair bit of use, I’m very pleased with it.

Didn't spot that thread. Maybe searched for compressor instead of inflator...

Thanks for the recommendation, bit more than I was looking to spend though, just under £50

I’ve got a Ring, had it for years and 100% reliable, was cheap and has a combined light. I never use garage forecourt outlets.

i suppose you get what you pay for . . .

That pump i showed is a twin piston, high flow, high pressure . . . which is great for a fast 50psi in a big van tyre . .

if you want cheaper, smaller etc etc . . .

what about something link this? . . . or the Ring ones (though i have replaced the previous 2x ring ones with the other ones)
