I'm not sure if anyone has looked in to this yet, but my 150,000 mile 5 year warranty is due to end on the 30th of November. So i've checked, and VW will offer an additional years warranty at a cost, this is to cover all parts on a van with 115,000 miles at present, driving over 15,000 miles...

Check your engine mount rubbers, mine developed a slight vibration and it was diagnosed as a split rubber on the front engine mount.

Thought i'd update this after a recent AdBlue top up (part of the 8 free fills) at VW, the van also underwent a health check, here's what they found at 104500 miles O/S Front Droplink Upper Boot Split Power Steering Pump Leak Front Engine Mount Split Engine Oil Leak, Flange Seal Belt Side Glad...

A bit late to the party, but the 204 highline's come with "T" rated tyres as standard (118mph) so you may be ok legally, My van has the 130mph ACC option, be interesting to see what happens if that was achievable :oops:

Quick update, The system seems to have rectified itself (or learned as VW put it) This week the vans covered approx 500 miles and the AdBlue is now showing 650 miles, so if anything it's improved on the range. The van is still going in to VW on Monday, but just for a free refill, apparently...

Thanks for all the replies, so it looks like the excessive consumption and update are probably linked as i thought, it'll be interesting to see what they say after it goes back in on the 1st, they said they'd require the van for most of the day. I'll update this thread once its been back in

Dealer just called, in his words "We've installed an Adblue software update that's just been released from VW" Sure someone on here will know if that's correct or not (the just released bit)

Mine does a lot of miles week to week, so i'd rule out the summer diesel theory, BUT!............. My light went out today on it's own, just as the Adblue did yesterday. There could be some theory in the quality of diesel. I filled up on Thursday evening at a local extremely busy shell...

I'll join the party too, mine lit up this morning :rolleyes: 50 miles later the Adblue 650 mile warning come up too! later in the day the Adblue went out, but the other light is still on, it's going in for a service tomorrow anyway, so i'll update the outcome then.

I thought i'd give my thoughts after 4 years of ownership and 95,000 miles covered, they may or may not be relevant to anyone. Looking back over old posts, i didn't realise the discontent i had for that van at times, so it would be a fair reflection to give an overall picture of my ownership...

Similar in price to the Bott smart van range, The latching mechanism on the Vankit is all steel, which was a must, as every system i've had previously which had any plastic, all broke within a year. The Vankit drawers have a high load capacity of over 60kg per drawer, and the under floor...

I've recently removed my Bott racking and fitted some racking from Vankit, i was after more drawers, the Bott racking was mostly shelves and storage cases. Just waiting for the threshold's to arrive, and then i need to look at some suitable lighting.

Hi Deaky, If these are still available i'd like them please, i gave away my T32 Springs to someone on here, but i've just started towing a trailer for work and the lowered springs give me a nose down trailer and at 2500kg limit regularly, i reckon it could be overloading the front axle/tryes.
