Dunno, I have both of the stainless EGR pipes, the actual valve looks fine and the motor seems ok.

Get the EGR blanked off and emulated and then you can deal with the coolant, that's the most serious and imminent threat. I've had mine blanked for a number of years and just getting around to sorting the coolant pipes - it does need doing as they will apparently go through eventually.

Identified that the egr connecting pipe had sheared off. New pipe ordered. The m8 bolts were very difficult to turn, ended up taking 1hr messing around until got brave enough to use a hammer to get the screw head to grip. It’s quite tricky getting to one of the screws at the back.

Quick update. Replaced rear egr flexi pipe with modified part. showed no signs of carbon build up or leakage. reset code and after a few hundred miles no fault code. I can only assume it has a better flow on the modified pipes and combined with the front pipe increased flow to satisfy the sensor.

Interesting.. my addblues started playing up, and I had the EGR pipes replaced in November last year. This would have been done within this refill cycle of the add blue. I’m going to take a look and see if there’s any problems. I’m really getting to the end of my tether with this van.
