Hi and thanks to everyone that has taken the time and effort to respond and share your wealth of knowledge.
I have this morning met with the VW technician, who explained in some detail along with hand written diagrams showing everything they had done to date. But it will only start for a few...
Could be all sorts of things, but a compression test would be a start, if a single cylinder mis-fire, it could have a bent con rod from hydrolocking, could be low compression all round due to bore wear. (CFCA Biturbo 180 engine?) Also getting it on proper diagnostics and reading the live...
With this case I think I will have to stick with VW abroad as not too confident with the language, should hopefully get the normal summary of what has actually been done for my records and if I have any warranty issues with the new engine (2 years from fitted I believe).
I am supposed to be...
Lowfuelpressure seen on VCDS OP? That's key here, and most of the other stuff you did is unrelated to this fault code. It could be as simple as a weeping injector which causes the railpressure to be lost overnight. Lots of cranking to start next day to build the pressure up again, then runs...
Currently abroad in Spain after a 2 day road trip. On motorway sitting at 70mph, started an uphill stretch and the coil light starting flashing. Managed to pull over, P0087 - Fuelrail/system pressure - Too low.
Did this two more times in similar scenarios, then the 4th time going up a...
One for @mmi I reckon, I have no idea. I don’t remember reading of any previous cases of fuel metering valve failure.
I haven’t looked at the logs in too much detail, age related thing, more spanners than ‘puters! ;)
If the railpressure is not rising when the HPFP is turning it seems there are...
Hello guys,
First of all, sorry for my english, i will do my best to make me understandable.
Well, i am going to tell you my story a little bit, i will try to be brief, and in case it may help someone.
My Van is a T6 2.0 150HP DSG CXFA engine code. I had it remapped by TLR Sport in Madrid...
Hello, so i have been reading all the posts in here that i feel are relevant to my case but it seems like i am chasing something i really cant figure out myself. so here is the story,
i bought a 2016 t6 150hp with the cxfa engine. 226' km on the counter and it was rigged just as i wanted it...
Hi Slater, Did you find out what your problem was?
We seem to be having the exact same issue. The van will start and drive perfect. We can then turn it off for a few minutes or even a few days and sometimes the thing will just not start. We've had 2 VW specialists look at it and changed a...
Welcome to the Forum.
To be clear, you say you had the van remapped and then the problems started?
Is it possible to have the remap removed, i.e return it to the VW factory map, to see if the map has created the problem?
I don't know consumer law in Norway, but I'd assume that you have...

Possibly lowfuelpressure, you've already eliminated many of the possible issues.

Hi Guys
I have a 2019 T6 here CXHA engine. Was going down the motor way then just bogged out like it ran out of fuel. Now it won’t start I have 350bar of railpressurefuel up to the filter. I’m getting a cam and crank signal. But it’s like the injectors are not firing. The vehicle will start on...
cracking bit of work @mmi
ill get another data set when i can to the van with VCDS.
still looking like lowfuelrailpressure. . . no fuel. (AA Easy start is a giveaway)
we thinking issues with airlock in fuel lift pump link to filter.
leaking filter letting in air?
air in HPFP?
keep us...
Hi all, I'm new here and looking for some inspiration for a non start 2016 crafter 2.0tdi.
I know this is a T6 forum but I'm at the end of my teather with this and I can't get an answer from any crafter forum.
OK here goes...
About 2 months ago the van started taking a but longer to start, but...
OK so I disconnected the outlet pipe from the fuel tank pump and turned it on, the fountain shot up so plenty of flow there. I then disconnected the pipe where it enters the engine bay and again squirted up with plenty of flow. I then checked the inlet to the filter and a dribble, checked the...
Fuel priming won't stop the starter motor turning over.
That symptom will be lowrailpressure causing extended cranking time.
Fuel prime on my van is only when IGN is switched on.
Failing to turn over will be starter or electrical for starter motor.(power or control) ..... including low...
Did you fit the injectors your self?
HPFP test is normaly from the railpressure and a fuel sample test...
Lowrailpressure indicates low pump pressure and/or leaking injectors.
My neighbor had a HPFP go on a Ford TDCI mondeo.... When he took it to the garage they took a fuel sample...
There are no material differences between these two blockmaps, so testing with EGR plug disconnected didn't really change much. Good news is that the EGR is not causing all the mayhem - but the bad news is that it's something else and we don't know what.
Like @mmi mentioned, many of the sensors...
