Tuff Torque 17" with chunky tyres

Perhaps you could start by playing with tyre size tool in Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit.com To me it looks like @Tourershine has done a lot experimenting with tyre sizes and If I'm not misinterpreting all the info, a kind of...

    What Have You Bought Today?

Welcome to "Club Cantera", although with them being black they are at a higher rarity, rather than the common low life standard silver!!

    Side on Sunday.

Ok, so the van wasn’t too shiny, but some app on my phone made it look shinier :think smile bounce: New wheels, which I’ve wanted for ages

    Show Us Ya 19s

Hi @Strettyp Those tyres will give a rolling radius/diameter about 7% larger than an OEM 17” wheel/tyre setup. They could well fit, depending on whether or how much your T32 is lowered. Fit without rubbing could also depend on the width and offset of your 19” wheels. Afraid it’s a little...

    Team Banded Brothers.

Morning. Before I put an add in the For Sale section is anyone in Team Banded looking for a set of Duchy Amaroks in chrome? They were fitted 19/12/21, 8.5/9, Bridgestone Weather Control's 255/45/18 103. They are not for me unfortunately, going back OEM, perhaps Sportlines 18s. DM me if...

18” Tyre recommendations for 8J wheels

I stand corrected. There is very little difference with a 255-45. I've got 255-45-19 tyres, so assumed they'd be too small on an 18. On a side note, although my tyres are larger than the standard ones, the vans speedo now reads spot on with GPS. I know it's better to have an over reading speedo...

    19” Tyre option and fit

255/55/19 is huge in Transporter terms, it would result in approx 10% increase in gearing over factory wheel /tyre combinations and a proportionate reduction in braking power. Your speedo would read miles out too. (under read)...

    9.5in ET 40 front

Folks, might be looking to swap out my Cantera wheels for a set that are 9.5x19 et40 all round. Not worried about the rear but just thinking the front might be a tad pokey. Anyone run this size? Would be with 255/45/19 tyre's.

    Amarok Wheels on a T6

I would choose an All-season (directional) 235/50/19 or 255/45/19 are both ideal also IMO

Going mad over rim size for t32

Most people using the 19" Amarok will run 255/45/19 which will fit fine, not scrub and be load rated for a T32. There is often several sets for sale in various places, but they are a popular wheel in the Transporter scene, so will often command good money rightly so.

    19" Amarok Cantera Wheels

There may be more choice with a 235/50r19 which is almost identical diameter to 255/45

    19” Tyre Recommendations

I’m finding it almost impossible to find a all season tyre in 255/45/19 which would be my preferred option.

    Big wheels kill MPG?

I would agree. When I made the below statement, I had accounted for the difference the 3% change in diameter. In contrast to this my BFG KO2's have crucified my MPG. This wheel/tyre combo I am using, means that my speedo and GPS speed are 100% matched, but my Long Term Average MPG on the MFD...
