Note that this will give an additional heating capability in the rear, but it is not aircon so at its coldest can only blow ambient air.

Removing rear heater / AC unit from Shuttle

Hi I cannot see that the original question was ever answered? I have a 2017 T6 Shuttle and need to take out the rear aircon to make room for the camper conversion. Has anyone managed to have it done? Any advice would be gratefully received. I have made the initial phone calls with the local...

    My Shuttle Day-Van Conversion

Originally we were going to spend all our money on a HiLo or Stealth roof (6500) and (5300) these costs were keeping the aircon and controls in the rear but we've decided to fit a van-king bed, vangear maxi kitchen unit and webasto heater.

Leaking Kombi Windows? How-to guide to resolve.

Whenever we've ever had people travelling in the rear, they've never felt the need to open a window, even in the height of summer. That's what aircon is for. We don't open the fronts as a matter of course. We never bothered opening them when parked up either, and open the window mesh in the...

As above, prob an issue with the aircon condense drain, check the rear bulkhead in the engine bay and you will see a rubber affair that allows AC condensation to drain out Google it for images, should be pretty easy to find

    What is my campervan worth?

Bit of an unusual one this. We are selling our T6 to buy a bigger vehicle, and have agreed to sell it to a friend, who has looked at it and it’s exactly what he wants. We have a big bill coming for the new van so can’t let the T6 go cheap, but equally it needs to be a fair price. So I thought I...

Wow, these pictures are very helpful. I’ve been diy WOW these are really helpful pictures, Thanks!! I’ve been dying to have a look behind the rear quarter trim. Maybe a silly question but does the aircon pipe run all the way through to the engine?

    Retain rear-heater in Shuttle-based Camper?

Hi I had my 2017 Shuttle converted last year and took mine out. There was no problem with the controls except that I have redundant switches. The difficulty I had was getting someone to remove it. In the end I had the whole aircon decommissioned and drained. I removed the rear unit to allow the...

    Boarding over Shuttle rear windows

@Doulsy Did you strip out all the interior trim and headliner? I assume you have gone full camper so the converter may have done it? No rear aircon in the van i'm looking at, so no big deal.

    My Shuttle Day-Van Conversion

Yep, best to look at the specs online and I'm sure the 6.1 shuttles will probably differ to the 6. But in summary the SE on the 6 has Rear Aircon as default, a nice carpet, darker slightly nicer looking trim (IMO) and they have body coloured bumpers.
