They are perm live and there is no switched cable behind. The easiest way is to drop a new cable to the fuse panel below the gear lever and use a piggy-back fuse off one of the switched central fuses. I’ve done that with both of mine and swapped the bottom one to a USB socket while at it.

With the switch OFF the live data does not change when the set/reset are pressed but when the switch is ON it changes so mechanically it is working and that is why I checked the wiring. Thank you for your support, really appreciate. Scratching my head here
