This won't be the cause of you SB issues, but the combination of a split charger and a smart alternator is not ideal. Ideally, you need DC-DC charger rather than a split charger.
...driving to Stratford at the weekend and I’ve been under the bonnet with the torch and camera looking for an indication that there was an induction/pressure hose or vacuum leak.
Anyway, intercooler split.
So yes, boost leak, overboost fault, no fault codes, constant regen and boost leak...
...I just bought aferiy power station and dc-dc charger. Just I’m not sure if I need to connect charger to main battery or leisure battery I already have leisure battery in camper with solar connected to it and split charger. If anyone knows how to properly connect DC-DC let me know please...
What’s it hooked up to? Maybe just a split charge relay from that voltage profile?
My guess is it’s pretty knackered from those readings but it’s worth hooking it up to a decent charger to see how it gets on.
Yes, quite laboursome. Took a few hours to split them, they are hefty units, I've split a lot of headlights over the years, these being the biggest and most time consuming.
Thanks 64 SPLIT. I'd prefer to remove the upper glovebox to save myself from back ache. Do you know if it can be removed in isolation or does the lower glovebox also need to be removed?
Just to say the Ottocast mini cube 3.0 has been faultless for me, never a dropout, never a reset, thoroughly recommended 👌 Straight into action when I jump in the van, as long as my phone Bluetooth is on!
