T6.1 Thatcham Alarm / immobiliser category

You could wind down your window, close and lock the van with 2 presses of the fob(to disable the deadlocks) , wait 1 minute, lean in and open the door from the inside(pull twice on the handle).

Both windows dropped alarm went off

My last van was 2003 and had manual windows, I have never had something this posh before. Still learning. I honestly don’t know. Last van, was a 2003 sprinter, so to me this is posh.

    Power-closing door problems

Thanks for the update, just like last year my door has behaved impeccably all summer (it did the same last year) until the first frosty morning the other day. From looking at the wiring diagrams the smaller unit in the nearside D pillar is rear lid control unit -J605 (7H0 959243 N on mine) and...

Thule Wanderway Bike Rack - Issues and Paint Protection

I've had a Thule Wanderway 2 bike rack fitted on my T6 for the last 18 months. I use it several times a month for MTB/gravel events so I leave it fitted all the time, plus I don't have anywhere to store it when not on the van! It has been brilliant.... however I've had two issues with them...

    Internal Door Locking not working

Anyone experienced any issues with the internal door locking? Had my van about 6 weeks and can't get the internal door locking to work. When I press the switch it initially locks but then immediately unlocks, almost as though a door is open (but it isn't!). The van locks ok with the key from...

    Experiences in Corrosion Prevention

This exactly. Use BiltHamber Dynax-UB. That's the thicker wax to spray on underneath. The thinner Dynax-S50 is cavity wax. I spray Dynax-UB on all fastenings, suspension bolts, pipes, couplings, jacking points, etc underneath, anything that doesn't get hot. Well worth doing. Also considering...

    No Alarm Sound

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I don't seem to have an audible Alarm on my van. If I lock the van and open the side door from inside the hazards go off but no sound at all. I'm assuming I should get some sounds as well? Mark

Heater Support Pump and Voltage error woes

Thanks Craig, yes that was the one, removed small connector, pin 43, 3rd one in was blue and purple, it ‘looked’ ok. I cut it about three inches back from ecu block - I didn’t want to leave the old remnants of the original wire connected in case it was broken somewhere under engine where I...

Deactivate motion sensors on alarm without b-pillar switch

Double press lock on key fob, this should deactivate deadlocks and motion sensing I believe but others may be able to confirm, we always use this method when leaving the dog inside and have not had the alarm go off except the one time we forgot and only pressed once

    BCM Terminal Pins

Hi guys, I am trying to add a few pins to the black connector B on the bcm but not sure which pins to source exactly. I can see from the discussions there several options if anyone can help point me in the right direction that will be really helpful. I’d rather order pins and crimp my wires...

Deactivate motion sensors on alarm without b-pillar switch

Hi, I have a T6 2018 camper van based on the Startline model - i.e. no bells or whistles. I'm taking it on a ferry soon so want to be able to lock it without the tilt sensor going off all the way across. I've read in various posts about the switch on the b-pillar behind the drivers seat which...
