I read another thread on here about inserting a projector into the H4 units as in that picture. I believe the place that does it is EM Tuning and it looks like it is one of their pictures? They are sealed but there is a way to open them which involves putting them in an oven. I’m not brave...

I'm looking at upgrading from the terrible H4 headlights and came across a company that fits Bi LED projectors in place of the low beam (HEADLIGHTRETROFITS LTD) Anyone done it and can recommend, or give comparison to the other well trodden methods of OEM H7's or THQ drl headlight units.

It depends on how mad you want to go! I went all the way, hid main lights, led fog lights on the inner lamp, demon eyes as side lights with bluetooth controlled colour change, etched main light reflector ,halo drl and blacked out reflector c/w carbon dipped cowels oh and led sweep indicators...

It should be possible. You could speak to EM Tuning (headlight customisers) about the best method / advice to remove the lenses / split the units in order to paint.

...T6s yet unless you get a set made by one of these companies that do the headlight conversions You can pay anywhere from 500-1000 depending on what you want and there’s lots of options If your considering it I would get in touch with Trups @ EM Tuning I know he’s done several sets for T6s already

There's quite a few threads covering bulb upgrades for the poor H4 headlights already. If you search in this subforum you'll find them. :thumbsup: Another option would be to send your standard light units to EM Tuning or such to be upgraded.

I've also been following what Trups is up to at EM Tuning, he's a legend over in the Audi world and these look great. The Projector and DRL are both from Morimoto - sweeping indicator is custom. Not sure how they connect, hopefully 'plug and play'. The lens' are now sealed and some lucky soul...
