What’s it hooked up to? Maybe just a split charge relay from that voltage profile? My guess is it’s pretty knackered from those readings but it’s worth hooking it up to a decent charger to see how it gets on.

Yes, quite laboursome. Took a few hours to split them, they are hefty units, I've split a lot of headlights over the years, these being the biggest and most time consuming.
