There are 2 versions of the Oem H7s. The early ones from 2015-2018 will have the DRL bulb holder, prone to burning out. The later ones, 2018- on will have the newer bulb holders which solved that issue. The part number for the units ends in a letter, A B C D E etc.....A is earlier, E is later...

Hi, I added some new DLR bulbs, but as it was not very good light conditions when testing the bulbs, the dip beam lights came on, but i noticed that the lights are flickering.. would this just be the alternator not generating enough current or something more sinister going on? cheers

I applaud anyone with the dexterity to replace the DRL bulb without removing the lamp. I struggled with it on the table!

I have sent mine back.. too long.. got to a point for trying "force" them in, which could create a problem when they need replacing

Sorry, are you referring to the DRL bulb as LED’s are fine for DRL bulbs. There is an earlier thread referring to the MOT requirements.

To be honest I found it easier to remove the bumper and headlight after the H15 bulb broke than the struggling I had done previously trying H7 LEDs and changing them all to uprated H15 & H7 bulbs. It was the same with my MK4 Golf, bumper off headlight out, change bulb
