Two months ago, engine light appears on my T6.1 4x4model (77.000km). Carista said P2459 "dpf regeneration frequency".
At the official VW service, they reset the error and manually started the regeneration. The error reappeared after a month. At the VW service, said that they tried to start...
2016 Transporter Shuttle 150PS CXFA engine.
Looking like I may need to replace the DPF. At 280,000 miles on the original I cant really complain. I want to get another year out of the car.
My question is who would you recommend to purchase one from. TPS have quoted £1700+VAT with a three week...
I've been using the DPF app for a while now - not on the van, but on my A6 because it gave me a negative soot measured value and I believed (from further research) that the Pressure Differential Sensor(s - in this case, as it had a pair) were potentially duff.
In the van, I have now noticed...
...It was ok, just down on power and it would go into LIMP mode when under heavy load (coil light) but a cycle of ignition would clear it. Then the DPF light came on, as I couldn't to a Burn as it would go into LIMP mode.
After a few days the DPF light went off and the Cycling of the ignition no...
Hi, New to the forum. I own a T6 2019 . I’ve had a egr, add blue and dpf delete with a remap. I have been told that I need to get the dpf drilled with a few holes not a complete removal of the whole filter inside. Can you remove the dpf from the vehicle without having to cut it off? Thanks in...
...some advice. We have a 2014 T5.1 converted transporter
Our engine Managment light is on , we were told by the garage that it will need a new DPF, but I am not convinced that it does.
The van has no loss in performance , is good on fuel and has never been smoky in the last 3 yrs we have...
...bought this Xenum product which is supposed to work well.
I have seen on YouTube that it must ne inserted in a way so it goes directly to the DPF.
I was wondering if someone could guide me on where I can put the hose to inject the chemical.
I have seen on other cars some people accessing...
...on - so in limp mode. Carista is stating 60grams of soot and won’t perform a forced regen. These are the faults showing:
I have removed the DPF from the vehicle and used wynns off the car DPF cleaner, reinstalled to the van and I’ve still got the same issues/codes.
The codes also reappear...
...couldn't find a leak. He tried a forced re-gen but it wouldn't let him due to soot levels being too high.
Since then, another garage has had the DPF cleaned which seems to have worked re the warning lights, and it now drives much smoother. However, the coolant is still running out fast...
...the forum but this time I'm stumped.
I started with an auxiliary coolant pump failure which I replaced, this was followed immediately by the DPF light coming on and then clearing after a forced regen, and a few day later I have circuit malfunctions on Exhaust Gas Temp sensors 2,3 and 4, and...
May I ask which DPF this this?
I'm not using one / monitoring my DPF yet, but wish to. I see various apps on the Google Play Store of 'VAG DPF', 'VAG DPF LITE', 'DPF INFO'.
Any suggestions on which one to use? I'm also a CAAC 150 (2019).
Thanks
Nath
Hi there! New to the Forum, I hope you can help :)
I think a bit of a preface needed here: I'm new to modern diesels and DPFs so unsure what to expect. I purchased my van (2017 T6 STN BM TDI 2l 150bhp) a few months ago and noticed that just about every drive it was in a state of Active Regen...
Evenin all, I've finally surfaced from the latest winter illness doing the rounds, so I thought I'd ask people about removing the DPF from my T6.1.
Does anyone have any advice on the subject? From what I'm reading, this item does little for anyone apart from maybe VW who get to sell some extra...
Meanwhile,
Differential pressure across the DPF - after DPF regeneration
Interestingly the pressure peaks across the DPF are significantly less than on the previous illustration (now 26 mbar vs. 65 mbar previously) in post #138 204 DSG intermittent momentary power loss.
This would be...
VCDS > Select > 01-Engine > Adaptation > IDE07903-Adaptation of ash mass
For a new DPF you would enter 0 grams. For a cleaned DPF perhaps 10 grams (would equal to 20000 miles. Anyways, I don't think it really matters.
No coding needed.
Morning all, just after a bit advice and help !!!
does anyone know where I can get hold of a dpf bypass pipe for a t5.1 2.0tdi (180) any help would be appreciated thanks.
