I’m planning on getting my dpf professionally cleaned soon. Mileage 137k miles 204 biturbo Cxeb engine.
Not based on any mechanical knowledge just the evidence that a blocked dpf will destroy the turbo, for me it seems a no brainer to spend £210 to prevent a £5k turbo bill.
If you are an Android user - an alternative inexpensive but actually very powerful tool for data monitoring and recording was introduced below

...van centres parts department and was on hold for 30mins with TPS earlier and gave up.
I have a 2017 204 4motion CXEB and know someone selling a DPF and Cat. I want to know if there is a lot of difference in the DPFs for various engines and between the T6 to T6.1.
The product code for the...
You could look at the dpf for cuts that have been re-welded, particularly on the top of it (which will be difficult, use a small mirror) as obviously when it's done it is done in such a way to make it hard for an MOT tester to spot!
Sooooo
Looking at the DPF removal but keeping the CAT in place, and getting conflicting info on which bit is what!
Can you clever buggers on here please explain.
Is ITEM 1 the CAT and ITEM 11 the DPF?
Hi
Newbie here with a potential to ask lots of questions.
Wait out on that one for the time being.
Question.
I’ve treated myself to a Carista and looked at the soot count.
It says it’s in oz and not g, do I just convert to get the correct g amount?
Cheers
...I stop and park the van and hop out there is a real weird metallic dry burning smell.
Also as I travel across the country (New Zealand) and the DPF amber light usually comes on somewhere during a long drive. I usually shift the transmission to manual and drop down a gear while the DPF burn...
Hello.
I am a person who is learning car maintenance in Korea.
I want to know the standard of Audi DPF Soot level.
I want to know the standard of soot value and ash content.
...have any experience with forcing a regen despite "calculated" soot values being over the magic 60g value, or telling the vehicle it has had a new DPF etc?
I am aware this limit is set for a reason and don't have the kit to do it myself but have had the DPF foam cleaner treatment to reduce...
The EGR/adblue delete is quite popular and the van will regen as normal. Personal experience is you'll have EGR/adblue issues before DPF issues but others may disagree
Its 100% safe but like @Dellmassive rightly points out, it's also 100% illegal
...fuels are only likely to help minimise ash produced or clean deposits in the fuel system/injectors.
If you have the Carista dongle try VAG-DPF (Android) or DPF for VAG (iPhone) that might show you more detail.

Rubbish. Two years ago almost. EGR blocked and mapped out and at the same time new VW DPF, one year on the old engine and a year on the new one. I am getting between c125m and 250m between regens depending what I am up to
