On this Forum it’s pretty hard to give away H4headlights when they are in good condition.
I think they would sell on Ebay, maybe individually to somebody who’s damaged a works van.
Hi all. Having just upgraded my headlights I have a pair of H4headlights.
In good but obviously used condition as they have come out of my 2017 T6.
Not sure if anyone would want them but happy with £40 plus postage for the pair.
I have led headlights so these are surplus to requirement
fitted with osram night breakers one light has a scratch on it, but does not affect the light beam/pattern in any way.
i'll include a little loom which i think converts it from H4 to H7 so won't need coding (but i can't be 100% sure as it...
I’ve got a 2017 T6, I’ve just bought some V3 headlights from THQ and the low beam goes out when I select the high beam, the headlights I took out were aftermarket ones, but both low and high beam came on together. How can I get this resolved.
Thanks

Almost effortless, just use a rag not abrasives.
Used by UK MOD for decades, google for best price (normally ebay)
Thanks for the help. I'm sure that would work - but decided to upgrade - the Mrs complains she doesn't like driving van at night as H4's so useless, so this will help somewhat. I did mention full LED upgrade but go that look - so sticking with THQ ones. THQ's own full LED still not available.
Sand the lens by hand with fine (1200 then 1500) wet n dry keeping very wet. They will look horrific after this.
Then get a polishing pad on the drill and give them a good wizz with a mild cutting paste then do the same again with Maguires plast RX and they should come up like new. I've done...
Hi,
My H4headlights were discolouring. Bought Turtlewax headlight cleaner - made it so much worse - ended up with like a wire wool effect (assume fibres from cloth hardened or something)
Tried Autoglym Headlight restorer kit - gone from bad to terrible - obv drill speed was too high as...
I've not taken them out on the road, yet. I will do that probably Monday evening to see how they look. I guess it's fair to say that super close to the garage looks terrible, but further away less so, maybe on a road they could be fine? Pipe dreams maybe.
Thankyou both for the replies, it's...
...loved but unwanted T6 bits together and thought I’d give it one last go before the whole lot ends up at oxfam 😂

...threads about the various DRL's but I'm finding myself going round in circles! I'm looking to change the DRLs to LED versions in my H4headlights. I just would like a white light rather than the dull yellowy colour, so purely a tarty thing!

There's a good THQ YouTube video on removing the grill and bumper to swap T6 headlights, they miss the fog light connection though.

I’m sceptical these cheaper aftermarket LED headlight units are actually legitimately’E’ marked and fully approved for road use. I imagine they just put the relevant marking into the cast for the plastic and have never had them tested.
Having said that those LED drop in H4 ‘bulbs’ are...
I got myself the THQ V3 and fitted a HID bulb kit instead of the LED bulbs THQ supply.
I haven’t haven’t had one bit of trouble with mine.
Seen other people complain about the HID kits but mine has been faultless.
Not sure if THQ are doing the full LED headlights, but seen people go down that...
